They are also known as J Anchor Bolts and are headless bolt fasteners that have a threaded shaft on one end and a hook bend on the other end making the shape of letter “J”. They are one of the most commonly used anchor bolts along with the L Foundation Bolts. The hook is designed to hook onto the rebar embedded in the concrete and provide anchorage to the structure above.
